The third day of box office revenue for Tiger Shroff and Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Heropanti 2 shows a 4.75 per cent increase.

Tiger Shroff last appeared in a film when the COVID-19 outbreak had barely begun in India. His picture Baaghi 3 was one of the last to be released in theatres before they were shut down for months due to the spread of the sickness, and it was also one of the first to be affected by it. After two years, the actor has launched a new episode of his previously released picture, Heropanti, which is an action-packed potboiler.

Despite continuing the storyline of a successful picture and having high-octane action sequences, the film has struggled to break through at the box office. The movie had a slow start at the box office on Friday, with earnings of around Rs 7 crore, and it plummeted even further on Saturday. However, on Day 3 Sunday, Heropanti 2’s box office collection increased by 4.75 per cent.

To get a sense of Tiger’s box office appeal, look at his past four films’ two-day statistics, which were approximately Rs 35 crore for Baaghi 3, Rs 75 crore for War, and Rs 25 crore for Student of the Year 2, and Rs 45 crore for Baaghi 2. Despite the fact that there was nothing unusual about what the A Flying Jatt star was giving, the statistics for Heropanti 2 were indeed a fraction of these numbers, as he was still catering to the mass audiences including all commercial characteristics.

The narrative centres around all attempts to apprehend a criminal (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) who has wreaked havoc using his computer crimes, with Babloo (Tiger) in command. Tara Sutaria also appears in the film as Tiger’s love interest.

Ahmed Khan directed the movie, which was scripted by Rajat Arora. The soundtrack was composed by AR Rahman.
