Kartik Aaryan would have to shed his long hair and cool-dude persona throughout this extremely odd small-town romantic drama. He’ll fill the shoes of Amol Palekar in Basu Chatterjee’s Chotisi Baat & Chitchor in this part as well as Hindi Picture Film.
Director Sameer Vidwans says that “We haven’t come to the full look as yet. But yes it will be a very different Kartik that audiences will get to see in this love story. Chote shaher ka ladka hai. His fashion sense, his personality even his body language would be different from what we normally see in our films.”
Kartik Aaryan is most looking forward to getting occupied in these new places. In fact, he plans to wear a new outfit for all of his upcoming projects.
Meanwhile, besides Freddy, Kartik will also be seen in Ram Madhvani’s action-thriller Dhamaka, Anees Bazmee’s directed horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 also starring Kiara Advani. He also has Hansal Mehat’s action-drama Captain India, and a romantic-musical untitled next in his pipeline.
Talking about his upcoming scheduled release ‘Dhamaka’ movie, it is a remake of The Terror Live, a 2013 South Korean film directed by Ram Madhvani. The film’s plot centres around Kartik Aaryan’s character, a news anchor, who attempts to promote his career by staging a terrorist attack. Kartik Aaryan is one of the busiest actor in the country and has a bunch of projects lined up such as the recently announced film Hansal Mehta’s directorial film ‘Captain India’.
