Dulquer Salmaan has received the prestigious Golden Visa from the UAE government. Dulquer is the fourth actor from the Malayalam industry to receive the Golden visa after Mohanlal, Mammootty, and Tovino Thomas. Recently, Boney Kapoor and his daughters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor also received the 10-year Golden Visa.
On Thursday, September 16, Dulquer received the UAE’s Golden Visa from Emirates officials. After receiving the visa, the actor thanked the Emirates officials and wrote, “It’s a privilege and honor to receive the Golden Visa. It was wonderful to hear the future plans of the Abu Dhabi government to promote film and production activities and encourage new talent locally and internationally.”
In 2019, the UAE government introduced the Golden Visa program. It allows the recipient to live and work in the country for 10 years without a national sponsor. In the past, Shah Rukh Khan, Sanjay Dutt, and Suniel Shetty were also granted this visa.
Earlier this month, Dulquer Salmaan took to Instagram to wish his father Mammootty on his 70th birthday. The actor shared an adorable picture of the two together and penned a sweet note.
He wrote, “I give up !! How does one even appear in the same frame and try to justify being there when you look like that! Mashallah! Ever so grateful and ever so blessed. I love you infinity Pa! We are the luckiest and most fortunate to be your family. We are constantly reminded of that when the world celebrates you on a constant basis. Wishing you the happiest of birthdays and may you always age in reverse.”
On the work front, Dulquer Salmaan has interesting projects lined up which include Kurup, Hey Sinamika, and Salute.
