Drishyam: The Conclusion Eyes Rs 365 Crore India Net

Day 20 keeps the finale alive

Three weeks after release, Drishyam: The Conclusion is still adding to its India total. The Ajay Devgn thriller collected Rs 2.65 crore net on Day 20, taking its India net to Rs 359.75 crore. Day 21 numbers are still awaited, and the trade is watching for a finish around Rs 365 crore net.

That is a modest weekday number, but context matters. The film opened hard on the holiday window and festive ticket pricing, so a cooling-off was expected. The third Wednesday brought a 60% drop the day after Dussehra—normal for a title that was always going to be front-loaded.

What the scoreboard says

  • India net after Day 20: Rs 359.75 crore
  • Projected India finish: Rs 365 crore net
  • Worldwide gross: over Rs 560 crore
  • Overseas gross by Day 18: Rs 127.75 crore
  • Malayalam original lifetime worldwide: Rs 237.70 crore, passed in four days

The global picture is stronger. Worldwide gross has crossed Rs 560 crore, with the overseas share at Rs 127.75 crore by Day 18. That makes Drishyam: The Conclusion Ajay Devgn’s biggest grosser, overtaking Singham Again. It now sits just behind Dhurandhar: The Revenge among 2026’s top Hindi earners.

Why the hold matters

For franchise fans, the benchmark is not just the opening. The original Malayalam Drishyam ended its lifetime worldwide run at Rs 237.70 crore; this Hindi finale raced past that number within four days. The result is a sign that the threequel has expanded beyond the core mystery audience.

Writer Aamil Keeyan Khan said he rewrote the film over 100 times, calling the job “an enormous mountain to climb.” With no Malayalam blueprint to lean on, the Hindi version had to find its own ending and keep it under wraps. Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the film stars Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Shriya Saran, Jaideep Ahlawat, Prakash Raj, Rajat Kapoor and Ishita Dutta. It is produced by Panorama Studios and Star Studio18.

The road to Rs 365 crore

With Day 21 still to come, the finish line is close. The difference between the current Rs 359.75 crore India net and the projected Rs 365 crore is a little over Rs 5 crore, so every weekday collection now counts. The drop after Dussehra has slowed the pace, but the film’s early reserve means it can afford the crawl.

The real headline, though, is personal. Ajay Devgn has never had a bigger grosser—Singham Again is now behind him—and the franchise has outrun its own source material by a wide margin. That is a finale doing what finales are supposed to do: ending on top.
