Drishyam: The Conclusion tops ₹370 cr worldwide in week one
Drishyam: The Conclusion nets Rs 236 cr in India in week one and Rs 370 cr worldwide, becoming Ajay Devgn's biggest grosser ever.

Ajay Devgn has a new career milestone, and it took exactly one week. Drishyam: The Conclusion closed its first week with approximately ₹236 crore nett in India, powered by a ₹12 crore nett Thursday, according to trade estimates collated by Pinkvilla. Add the international run—USD 8.80 million, roughly ₹85 crore—and the worldwide gross stands at about ₹370 crore.
That is not just a strong start. It is a passing of the torch within Devgn’s own filmography.
A record the first week was built for
The ₹236 crore India nett total clears the previous Drishyam chapter, which ended its 2022 run at ₹234 crore nett. In other words, the new film needed seven days to out-earn its predecessor’s lifetime.
- ₹236 crore – first-week India nett, per early trade estimates.
- ₹370 crore – worldwide gross, including about ₹85 crore from overseas.
- ₹358 crore – Tanhaji’s worldwide gross, the record this film has now replaced.
That third figure is the headline inside the headline. Crossing Tanhaji makes Drishyam: The Conclusion the biggest grosser of Devgn’s career.
Why the weekday dip does not change the math
The first weekend was strong, while the midweek totals were softer. The likely explanation is a weekend-heavy pattern: a film that over-indexes in major centres plays brilliantly on Saturdays and Sundays and settles on working days. Friday’s advance bookings, Pinkvilla notes, are already healthier, which suggests the second weekend is building rather than fading.
As Pinkvilla put it, if the momentum holds, the film could “surpass the Rs. 300 crore nett mark by Sunday EOD.” If that happens, ₹400 crore nett after that would be straightforward. On the gross side, ₹400 crore would be a first for Devgn—and the film is being discussed as a candidate for ₹500 crore and ₹600 crore markers eventually.
What to watch next
The second Friday and Saturday numbers will tell us whether the film merely coasts on franchise goodwill or accelerates. As with all early box-office reporting, these are subjective trade estimates rather than final audited collections.
For now, the story is simple: the Drishyam franchise has given Ajay Devgn his biggest film, and the record might not stand for long because the same film is still running.
