Shakun Batra’s next film based on extramarital issue stars Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Pandey. The title of the movie has kept completely under wraps and nothing much has been revealed yet. On the latest reports, the film is being called a Domestic Noir Drama and that Deepika Padukone is all set to play a fitness coach in the film.
As per reports, recently a source revealed Deepika Padukone’s role in the movie. The source said, “Deepika plays the role of a fitness instructor. While many in the know say it’s based on a celebrity fitness instructor, the team at Dharma Productions and the writers have completely denied it. But yes, it’s true she plays a fitness enthusiast and a trainer in the domestic noir drama.”
The source further shared that Ananya Panday and Deepika Padukone will be playing sisters. The source continued, “Shakun has always got a kick out of complex relationship stories and in this, the complexities come when Deepika gets physically involved with her younger sister Ananya’s partner Dhairya. The whole extra marital issue has been treated with a lot of sensitivity, ala typical Shakun style and it’s an emotional watch.”
Shukun Batra’s upcoming film stars Deepika Padukone, Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Dhairya Karwa in key roles. Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya and Deepika shared glimpses from the shoot location. The film cast filmed a major chunk of the movie in Goa.
Deepika Padukone was last seen in the film, ‘Chhapaak’. Directed by Meghna Gulzar. She played the role of an acid attack survivor named Malti in the film. The actress successfully managed to carve her niche in the hindi film industry with her acting prowess. The film went on floors last year and now fans are eagerly waiting for Deepika Padukone’s next film.
