Chashme Baddoor: All you need to know about this movie

by Ratan Srivastava

Attempting to remake a cult movie like Chashme Baddoor was indeed a tough task. The movie is regarded as a classic, and it is credited with making the Deepti Naval-Farooque Sheikh duo famous! Especially with the new age, modern setting, and changes in relationship dynamics since then, this picture is almost unrecognisable from its predecessor.

The producers and writers deserve a lot of credit for weaving a unique tapestry out of the plot. The story’s plot is neither dull nor prolonged, despite Dhawan’s typical comedy genre! The film amuses us at every other scene, keeping the audience engaged till the very end.

The manner the Chamko scene was handled particularly struck me. The moment was assigned to seasoned actors to manage, refusing to negotiate its inherent worth. The film contains unique rhymes and puns, as well as a few humorous dialogues, spoofing Bollywood with sophisticated sarcasm.

The picture is kept cheery as well as perky by focusing eloquently upon that trio’s relationship strong bromance.

Chashme Baddoor Movie Review:

Although Ali Zafar has made significant progress, he still falls well short of a Farooque Sheikh calibre of work on a regular basis. I might have simply skipped the connection, but it seems nearly appropriate given the movie’s unmistakable connection.

Ali Zafar keeps on making a sincere effort to sync up here to actor of the past. His lovely co-star, on the other hand, fails miserably. Despite having a good acting ability, Taapsee is a letdown since she lacks Deepti Naval’s spectacular acting ability, elegance, and grace.

Siddharth is a genius. His smooth charisma will reminds us all why, notwithstanding a star-studded cast, he was able to make the ladies swoon after Rang De Basanti. To sync up to a solid storyline and better co-actors, the actor hasn’t lost his confidence. For the good, we have to see a lot much about him in Bollywood!

Veterans don’t even have to be mentioned. Lillette Dubey, Rishi Kapoor, and Anupam Kher are unquestionably excellent at what they do. Anupam Kher’s performance is evocative of Govinda’s tomfoolery with the No 1 Dhawan movie, and it will leave you miss Govinda.
