Bron Gilbert’s directorial debut will star Sydney Sweeney and Halsey

Tony Tost’s directorial debut National Anthem from Bron Studios will star Sydney Sweeney, Halsey, Paul Walter Hauser, Simon Rex, Toby Huss, Gavin Maddox Bergman, Harriet Sansom Harris, and newcomer Derek Hinkey.

The film centres around a brutal quest for a prized rare Lakota Native American Ghost Shirt, according to Deadline. Some are looking for money, while others are looking for personal independence, and yet others simply want to return it to its rightful place. The disadvantaged will no longer be overlooked; everyone must learn to survive or perish.

The movie is indeed a collaboration between Page Fifty-Four Pictures as well as Bron Studios, as well as Sydney Sweeney Creative Wealth Media. Alex Saks of Page Fifty-Four and Aaron L. Gilbert of Bron Studio are producing. Jason Cloth of Creative Wealth Media is an executive producer. Marcus RedThunder, a Native American activist, serves as a consultant on the film.

“We are happy to be working with Tony – as well as Alex, Sydney Sweeney, Paul, Halsey, and the rest of this fantastic ensemble – on his vision of this inspirational and personal narrative of self-redemption and survival,” Bron’s Gilbert said of the cast and the film.

I can’t imagine a more talented group of actors to personify the grit and vulnerability of these characters. The emotional transformations will be extraordinary,”

The film will be shot on location with the support of the New Mexico Film Office.
