Bhoomi

Bhoomi is indeed a Pseudoscience action movie directed by Lakshman in Tamil. Sujatha Vijayakumar, Jayam Ravi’s mother-in-law, is producing the movie underneath the name Home Movie Makers. Jayam Ravi as well as Nidhhi Agerwal lead inside the movie, which also has Ronit Roy and Sathish in minor parts. The picture is set in an agricultural environment. D. Imman wrote the soundtrack and background score. Ravi has now appeared in 25 films. On the 14th of January 2021, the film was released on Disney+ Hotstar, corresponding with Pongal.

Critics and viewers alike gave the picture poor reviews, praising it for its performances, predictability, storyline, screenplay, and love moments.

Bhoominathan is a NASA scientist who discovered that plant life may survive on Mars by altering specific anaerobic conditions. For his finding, he has received significant acclaim from his colleagues. While on a one-month holiday in Tamil Nadu, he finds that his village is suffering from drought and that some businesses have depleted his land’s undersea reservoir for nefarious motives.

He’s also disappointed to learn that his uncle, an agriculturalist, is saddled with farm debts as a result of his village’s lack of water supplies. His uncle had attempted unsuccessfully to resolve the matter with the local MLA, the district collector, and the governing body, and he ultimately succumbed to the strain by setting himself on fire. Bhoominathan, unable to cope with his grief over his uncle’s murder, pledges to punish Richard Child, the chairman of the major corporation (and the story’s main villain), by calling him to court.

Despite this, his efforts go unnoticed in the face of the villain’s wealth and might. Despite several difficulties, Bhoominathan resolves to battle it out intelligently by winning the confidence of his village people and establishing his own trusted corporate ‘Thamizhan’ by the village people and previous corporate firm workers. Finally, he triumphs in his efforts and takes back and refills his land with the knowledge of his hybrid plant technology which he had learned previously, saving his people and land from famine.

Following Romeo Juliet (2015) as well as Bogan (2016), this is Jayam Ravi’s third collaboration with filmmaker Lakshman (2017). Ronit Roy makes her Kollywood debut in this flick. D. Imman wrote the soundtrack, which was published on the Sony Music India label.
