Babu Rao set to return in Hera Pheri 3, Paresh Rawal – Akshay Kumar Ceasefire on cards?

In a dramatic turnaround, veteran actor Paresh Rawal is reportedly back on board as the beloved Babu Rao for Hera Pheri 3, ending months of silence following a high-stakes payment dispute.

Sources close to the production confirm that a behind-the-scenes ceasefire—spearheaded by Akshay Kumar and Cape of Good Films—helped broker Rawal’s return, ensuring the iconic comic trio of Raju, Shyam, and Babu Bhaiya remains intact.

Rawal had earlier walked away from the project over a contentious payment clause. The prolonged timeline was a dealbreaker, stalling production and putting the film’s legacy at risk.

But Akshay Kumar’s determination to preserve the heart of the franchise seems to have worked. Let’s wait & watch till the official announcement happens.
