Andaz Apna Apna is indeed a 1994 Bollywood Hindi comedy film directed by Rajkumar Santoshi as well as produced by Vinay Kumar Sinha, featuring Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Raveena Tandon, Karisma Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, as well as Shakti Kapoor, with Mehmood, Govinda, and Juhi Chawla making cameo appearances. On November 4, 1994, the picture was released. The storey aspects of the movie were eventually utilised in various language movies, including Ullathai Allitha (1996), Veedevadandi Babu (1997), and Galate Aliyandru (2000), albeit none of them was a frame-by-frame reproduction.
Despite being a semi-hit at the box office, the picture has become a cult classic over time. The movie’s terminology has become part of everyday speech. This movie’s conclusion is a rehash of the climax of the 1972 movie Victoria No. 203.
Amar and Prem are two daydreamers who have the same goal of becoming affluent by marrying Raveena Bajaj, daughter of the wealthy Ram Gopal Bajaj. Raveena flies to India with Karishma, her secretary and friend. She has travelled to India in search of a good spouse.
The two guys meet on a bus heading to Ooty, where Raveena resides, and quickly realise they have such a shared aim. The two then make many unsuccessful attempts to woo the woman.
In the meantime, they plan to infiltrate her home. Prem claims to become a doctor, whereas Amar pretends to be a guy who has lost his memories after being hit by Raveena. The affluent heiress “Raveena” is actually Karishma, while the secretary “Karishma” is Raveena. Raveena changed her identity to find a boy who would love her instead of her money.
Ram Gopal does have a twin brother named Shyam Gopal Bajaj, nicknamed Teja, whom no one knows about. Teja is a thief who has stolen a large sum of money from Crime Master Gogo.
Teja plans to steal the money by kidnapping his brother and impersonating Ram. Robert and Bhalla, two of his pals, have also been installed in the home. Raveena is repeatedly attempted to be killed by Robert and Bhalla, but they are unsuccessful.
Teja wants to take Ram’s money, which has been transformed into diamonds when he arrives in India. Ram recognises Amar and Prem for who they truly are and consequently refuses Raveena’s marriage to any of them. The two want to stage a kidnapping and heroically “rescue” Ram.
Teja too has plotted to kidnap Ram, which they are unaware of.
Teja is successful in kidnapping Ram. Amar and Prem attempt to save Ram, but Teja dupes them into believing he is Ram and enters Ram’s home. Nobody suspects anything at first, but the girls soon detect a rat. The females’ true identities have been uncovered by the lads. Prem is head over heels in love with the actual Raveena, while Amar is head over heels in love with the real Karishma.
The females inform the lads of their suspicions. Teja is pursued by the lads, who soon discover the truth. Ram deceives Teja and manages to flee the jail. However, the lads mistake him for Teja, and Ram is once again imprisoned — this time with Amar and Prem. Amar and Prem, on the other hand, are successful in convincing Robert and Bhalla that Ram is Teja.
Teja is stopped by the guys, Robert, and Bhalla. Meanwhile, Gogo is continually harassing Robert and Bhalla throughout the movie, demanding his money back. He detects the gems quickly and abducts Ram, Raveena, as well as Karishma. At Gogo’s lair, the boys try to control the situation along with Ram. In a comic standoff, each villain’s true motivation is revealed. Nevertheless, because of the lads’ cunning, police raid Gogo’s hideout, apprehending every one of the crooks. Ram reclaims his gems and chooses to marry Amar as well as Prem to Karishma and Raveena, correspondingly.
