As per the latest reports, one of the most anticipated movie, Bell Bottom after many hurdles due to the widespread of Covid-19 Coronavirus, is all set to hit the theatres on 19th August. ‘Khiladi Kumar of Bollywood’, Akshay Kumar made this official announcement, all across his social media handles.
On Friday, July 30, Akshay Kumar took to social media in order to make the announcement along with a video. The actor captioned the post as “Mission: To Entertain you on the BIG SCREEN. Date: August 19, 2021. Announcing the arrival of #BellBottom! #BellBottomInCinemasAug19.”

The spy thriller was shot extensively in Scotland under the direction of Ranjit M Tewari. It was written by Aseem Arrora and Parveez Shaikh. Bell Bottom is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, and Nikkhil Advani and stars Vaani Kapoor, Lara Dutta, and Huma Qureshi.
Talking about the movie, Bell Bottom is a spy thriller set in the 80s and is based on the plane hijacks that took India by storm back then. Apart from Akshay Kumar, Bell Bottom also stars Lara Dutta, Vaani Kapoor and Huma Qureshi in the lead. Where Khiladi Kumar plays a RAW agent, Lara Dutta essays the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi who was in power at that time. Vaani Kapoor plays Akshay’s wife in the movie.
