Zendaya Makes A Special Request To Fans Booking Tickets For Spider-Man: Brand New Home: ‘Bring Some…’

Trust Zendaya to raise expectations for Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The actress is currently on a global press tour alongside Tom Holland, promoting the highly anticipated next chapter in the Spider-Man franchise.

The film’s second trailer, unveiled in Amsterdam earlier this week, hinted at a complicated dynamic between Peter Parker and MJ. Following the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, MJ has no memory of Peter, setting the stage for what appears to be an emotional and deeply personal story.

While the cast has been careful not to reveal any major spoilers, Zendaya recently teased fans about the film’s emotional impact. During a red carpet appearance, she encouraged audiences to revisit the previous Spider-Man films before heading to theatres for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, warning fans to be prepared for an emotional ride.

“I would say watch all of our Spider-Man previous just to keep you caught up… And then bring some tissues… we go there,” Zendaya said.

It’s a BRAND NEW DAY for Peter Parker. Fighting crime full-time as Spider-Man in a world that doesn’t remember him—and the pressure of seeing his old friends move on without him—sparks a change in Peter he may not have the power to control. But that transformation might also be the only thing that can stop a shocking new threat to the city and those he loves – a powerful villain no one can even see. The world may have forgotten Peter Parker, but he hasn’t forgotten them.

Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the film is written by Chris McKenna & Erik Sommers and Justin Kuritzkes. Based on the MARVEL Comic Book by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, Kevin Feige, p.g.a., Amy Pascal, p.g.a., Avi Arad and Rachel O’Connor, p.g.a. produced the film. Executive Producers are Louis D’Esposito and David Cain. The film stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Tramell Tillman, Michael Mando and Mark Ruffalo.

Sony Pictures Entertainment India will release Spider-Man: Brand New Day in theatres in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada on 30th July.
