What are some good action movies with cigars?

During the golden age of Hollywood, it was uncommon to find action movies or television shows where the main characters didn’t smoke or where the heroes didn’t take a break to light up cigars. Here’s a list of movies you should add to the must-see list; they’re all best enjoyed with such a cigar as well as a stiff drink in hand.

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly (1966)

What famous film list would be complete without ‘The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly?’ Clint Eastwood’s character regularly lights up a cigar in this western film featuring Hollywood great Clint Eastwood. In one instance, he exchanges a cigarette with a dying soldier.

Black Hawk Down (2001)

Ridley Scott’s picture is among the most memorable lines regarding cigars in cinema history. As that the United States Troops arrive to take Mr. Atto up for a meeting with General Garrison, he is smoking a cigar. Garrison refuses a Cuban cigar when offered by the General, stating, “No, thanks.” “I was handed one,” says the narrator. The feedback has been incredible! Mr. Atto says, “Miami, my buddy, is not Cuba.”

Hellboy (2004)

The film ‘Hellboy,’ based in part on the graphic novel of the same name, tells the storey of a demon summoned by that of the Nazis who is taught to be a defender of good after being spared by the Allies.

Count how many times you see Hellboy with a short, thick cigar and tell us how many times you see one if you’re not distracted by the plot!

The Wolverine (2013)

Wolverine, played by Hugh Jackman, was renowned for his cigar-smoking habits and retractable titanium claws. Wolverine smokes a Cohiba cigar, which drew a lot of backlash from anti-smoking organisations because it was a family movie. Hugh’s Wolverine character has been seen to light up inside the later Wolverine sequels, and this doesn’t deter him.
