As he poses with Kandahar co-star Gerard Butler, Ali Fazal pulls a silly expression

Ali Fazal, who will next be seen in the Hollywood film ‘Kandahar,’ in which he will co-star with Gerard Butler, has revealed an exclusive photo from the set.

Ali is seen posing with Butler and other members of the film’s team in a photo acquired by IANS. The film’s shooting schedule was just completed in Al Ula, Saudi Arabia.

‘Kandahar,’ which began filming in Saudi Arabia’s Al-‘Ula in December and is backed by Thunder Road Films and Capstone Group, is based on genuine events and draws inspiration from the life of a former military intelligence officer’s experiences at the Defense Intelligence Agency in Afghanistan.

‘Kandahar’ is Ali’s first collaboration with director Ric Roman Waugh, who previously collaborated with Butler upon the films ‘Greenland’ and ‘Angel Has Fallen.’

Ali is currently filming for filmmaker Vishal Bharadwaj’s directorial debut, ‘Khufiya.’
