Vahbiz Dorabjee, celebrated for her graduation grace and charm, has made a lasting impact through her versatile acting career on television. Starting with her breakthrough role in ‘Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani’ to her unforgettable portrayal as Maggie in ‘Bahu Humari Rajnikant,’ she has continuously captivated viewers. Yet, aside from her on-screen presence, Vahbiz sheds light on some of the industry’s harsher truths, notably addressing the prevalent issue of dating on set.

Vahbiz shared her thoughts on the recent controversy surrounding the prohibition of co-actors dating while working on a TV show set, She said, “I’m not entirely sure why such clauses are enforced, but perhaps it’s to maintain professionalism on set. While it’s true that two people can’t be prevented from falling in love or dating, it’s essential to separate personal relationships from work obligations. Dating someone shouldn’t compromise the quality of your work or lead to a casual attitude towards it. Many actors have found love and even married while working together, but it’s crucial to handle such situations with maturity and professionalism. Ultimately, destiny plays a role, but it’s also about individual responsibility and maintaining professional boundaries.”

When asked if the topic of restriction could inadvertently lead to increased secrecy or deception among co-actors in relationships, she explained, “Prohibiting something often leads to it happening in secrecy, and people find ways around it. When it comes to genuine feelings between individuals, like falling in love or being attracted to each other, no clause can effectively prevent that. It’s a natural aspect of human interaction that can’t easily be regulated.”

She further added, “Indeed, genuine chemistry between two people is undeniable and will eventually surface, regardless of any rules or clauses in place. It’s a natural aspect of human connection that can’t be easily suppressed or controlled.”
