Tiger Shroff firing: 10 arrested, burn video shared

When Tiger Shroff appeared in Mumbai after the October 18 firing in Juhu, his arm and shoulder were bandaged, and fans quickly noticed. Police had not listed the actor among the injured, which made the pictures the centre of speculation. On Thursday, Team Tiger Shroff responded with a short Instagram video showing the inside of the actor’s arm covered with small brown dots.

Burn marks explain the bandages

The marks look like powder tattooing, the dark specks that can appear when gunshot or gunpowder residue and flying debris hit the skin. The areas shown in the clip match the spots where Tiger was bandaged while he met Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.

Family members were quick to react. Jackie Shroff and Krishna Shroff left folded-hands and other emojis under the post, while Ayesha Shroff wrote, “God is great,” replying to the team’s caption, “God is kind.”

A warning about AI-generated videos

The video was not the only message from the actor’s team. They also issued a warning about misinformation, saying Tiger “has made no statements, released no videos, and authorised no communication regarding the recent incident.” The statement added that pages were sharing “fabricated stories, AI-generated videos and scripted narratives” falsely attributed to him, and that those continuing to spread such content could face legal consequences.

For fans, that instruction is more practical than it sounds. If a clip surfaces on a fan page with Tiger’s face or voice discussing the attack, the team is saying it is not real unless it appears on an official account.

The case so far

  • The attack took place in Juhu on October 18; the actor was not hit by bullets.
  • Tiger’s driver and a bystander were injured.
  • Three suspects were picked up in Kota and brought to Mumbai within hours.
  • Anil Pandit, described as a close aide of Lawrence Bishnoi, claimed responsibility in a social media post.
  • Four suspects have been identified as Kunal (21), Sumit (19), Radha (23) and Babita (23).
  • Ten people have been arrested in the case so far.

Why this moment matters

In celebrity journalism, a visible injury can outrun the official version of a story. Here, the team answered the visual question first, posting the marks rather than only issuing a statement, and then addressed the information environment around it. It is a useful template for how a celebrity team can cut through rumour: publish the visual evidence, state what is authorised, and warn about counterfeits.

For the audience that follows stars as closely as films, the takeaway is simple: wait for the official account, especially when the story is moving this quickly.
