Tiger Shroff Firing Case: Accused Stayed 5 Days Under Fake IDs

Arrested men allegedly told Mumbai Crime Branch they wanted to frighten Tiger Shroff and spread fear in Bollywood, not kill him. The claim is under probe.

Tiger Shroff firing: 5 days under fake IDs, police say

The two men arrested in the firing case involving Tiger Shroff’s car have reportedly told investigators they were not sent to kill the actor. According to Mumbai Crime Branch sources cited by IANS, the alleged aim was to intimidate Tiger Shroff and “create fear in Bollywood.”

Police are treating the account as a claim to be verified, not a closed conclusion. The Mumbai Crime Branch is now checking the statements as part of a wider probe into the alleged conspiracy behind the incident.

For fans, that changes the shape of the story: if the accused’s version eventually holds up, the case becomes less about a single failed attack and more about an alleged warning aimed at an entire industry.

Five days in Andheri under false identities

The accused, identified as Phool Singh and Rehan Singh, reportedly checked into RR Residency in Andheri East on the 14th and left on the 18th. Hotel staff member Dheeraj Yadav told IANS the two men stayed at the property for five days.

“They checked in on the 14th around 11:00 AM. On the 18th, around 4:10 PM, they left. There were two of them… They had two bags and some clothes in a plastic bag, that’s all,” he said.

That account gives investigators a concrete timeline to test against other evidence. The reported use of false identities during the stay is one of the details police are examining closely.

Why the alleged motive matters

Intent often shapes how an investigation is framed and, eventually, how charges may be pursued. The arrested men allegedly said their objective was to frighten Tiger Shroff and send a message across the Hindi film industry.

  • The accused allegedly claimed the plan was to intimidate the actor, not kill him.
  • They reportedly said the larger goal was to create fear in Bollywood.
  • The Crime Branch has not independently established the claim and is verifying the statements.

Security experts often distinguish between a direct threat to a person and an atmospheric threat aimed at a community. A credible intimidation campaign can force the industry to spend more on protection and change how stars move through public spaces, even when no one is physically harmed.

That is why the Crime Branch’s verification matters. Until the statements are corroborated, the “fear not murder” line is only the accused’s version of events, according to the sources.

What comes next

The Crime Branch continues to investigate the firing case, including the alleged motive and possible conspiracy. The account remains an allegation, and no independent confirmation has been given so far.

The five-day hotel stay is one of the few publicly detailed timelines in the case, but it is only one piece of a probe that is still unfolding.
