Teja Sajja confirms December 2026 wedding to US-raised fiancée
HanuMan star Teja Sajja has confirmed a December 2026 wedding to a US-raised woman, with a November engagement, a private Rajasthan ceremony and a Hyderabad reception to follow.
Teja Sajja, who became a familiar face with the blockbuster HanuMan, has confirmed that he is set to marry a US-raised woman in December 2026. The news, shared in a conversation with Deccan Chronicle, gives fans a rare look at an actor who usually keeps his personal life quiet.
The wedding timeline
The couple is planning an engagement in November, followed by a wedding in December 2026 in Rajasthan. Teja described the celebration as intentionally intimate.
- Engagement: November 2026
- Wedding: December 2026, Rajasthan
- Guest list: Family and close friends only
- Reception: Hyderabad, with Telugu industry names expected
After the ceremony, a reception in Hyderabad is expected to draw several prominent actors and members of the Telugu film fraternity.
Why his partner stays away from the limelight
Teja said his bride-to-be has no film connections. “She was raised in the USA and is totally unaware of the limelight,” he said. Her family works in tech, and she works with her father.
That distance from showbiz is exactly what appealed to him. The actor said he has always kept his personal life private and plans to do the same with the wedding.
The choice also places the story in a different register. Instead of a film-family alliance, the wedding connects his world to a US-raised partner from the tech industry—a contrast that makes the announcement stand out.
A private star, by design
Teja’s decision is consistent with the way he has handled fame since HanuMan made him a breakout lead. Rather than turning the wedding into a media event, he is treating it as a family moment—and telling fans directly so the news comes from him, not from speculation.
What’s next on screen
For fans tracking his work, the wedding news arrives during a busy stretch. Teja recently made his hosting debut with The Traitors Telugu on Prime Video, a show that brings together 20 contestants for a game built on alliances, deception and betrayal. After Mirai in 2025, he is set to headline Zombie Reddy NXT LVL, directed by Suparn S. Varma and featuring Upendra and Shanaya Kapoor in key roles.
