Bollywood Seems To Be An Inappropriate Term Coined Says Mani Ratnam

The term bollywood seems to be an inappropriate word for many.But now one of the biggest personality of Indian Cinema Mani Ratnam wants to retire the term bollywood as it creates a difference between hindi cinema and regional cinema and thinks Indian Cinema should be one.His view regarding bollywood as not a right term was said while Mani Ratnam was speaking at CII Dakshin Media and Entertainment Summit in Chennai.The panel also saw the presence of Rishab Shetty hugely successful actor and director of Kantara.Rishab Shetty laid imphases on making local as global and stories need to represent India as major population live on daily basis.The cast of Penniyin Selvan 2 Aishwarya Rai,Viluam,Karthi,Trisha Krishnan and Sobhita Dhulipala .The first part of Ponniyin Selvan was a huge success and Penniyin Selvan 2 arrives in theatres on April 28.

How far Mani Ratnam words regarding Bollywood would be taken seriously ,but its certainly true that gap between cinema has come down and thats for better good.
