Sara Ali Khan on Love Aaj Kal’s failure on Koffee With Karan 7: “It was a Valentine’s Day slap in my face”

The following movies starring Sara Ali Khan include Gaslight with Vikrant Massey and an untitled movie with Vicky Kaushal.

One of the most talented actresses in the business is Sara Ali Khan. She has appeared in films such as Simmba, Kedarnath, Love Aaj Kal, and Atrangi Re. She has a sizable social media following and regularly showers her fans and followers with photographs of herself. The second episode of Karan Johar’s contentious gossip programme Koffee With Karan featured Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor.

Sara Ali Khan addressed the dismal box office performance of her film Love Aaj Kal and how it affected her, given that she had had success relatively early in her career with Kedarnath and Simmba, in addition to making some unexpected discoveries and dispelling relationship rumours.

Sara Ali Khan was frank with the audience about her successes and failures and displayed her frail side. The actress from Atrangi Re said, “Kedarnath and Simmba released in the same month, December 2018. I think I was given much more love and adulation than I deserved and was put up on the pedestal I thought I couldn’t have lived up to. But suddenly, one Friday, on February 14, that (Love Aaj Kal) was a Happy Valentine’s Day slap on my face. Reviews that were coming out were not good, it didn’t do well at the box office. It was a jolt because of what happened after Kedarnath and Simmba.”

On the other hand, Janhvi Kapoor acknowledged that she was happy to be able to dance to the movie’s super successful song Nadiyon Paar and that the dismal box office performance of Roohi didn’t bother her.

On the job front, Sara Ali Khan is collaborating with Vicky Kaushal on an untitled film and Vikrant Massey on the movie Gaslight. Janhvi Kapoor, who is her Koffee companion, will next be seen in Good Luck Jerry. She also has the movies Mr. And Mrs. Mahi, starring Rajkummar Rao, and Bawaal, starring Varun Dhawan and directed by Nitesh Tiwari.
