Salman Khan upcoming film, ‘Bhaijaan’, directed by Farhad Samji is slated to hit the theatres on Diwali 2022. Earlier, the film was titled ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’, and now it has been renamed as ‘Bhaijaan’. The film features Pooja Hegde, Aayush Sharma, Zaheer Iqbal and Asim Riaz. As per the reports, Salman Khan will make two big-budget movie announcements, with four existing films already.
A source reveals, “Once the situation improves, Salman will come down from his Panvel farmhouse for a photoshoot with the cast. Designer Ashley Rebello has begun planning his look; the superstar will don a white kurta and jeans, sporting a clean-shaven look,” The film is a remake of a Tamil film where the eldest brother refuses to marry since he believes it may create disharmony in his family. His two brothers Aayush Sharma, Zaheer Iqbal and Asim Riaz found partners. Both brothers come together to find love for Salman Khan. Pooja Hegde to feature as Salman’s love interest.
The source further added that the title, Bhaijaan, is perfect. “Since the movie focuses on the bond of brotherhood, Salman, Farhad and Sajid feel the title, ‘Bhaijaan’, perfectly captures its essence.”
Salman Khan is to resume the shooting for ‘Tiger 3’, directed by Maneesh Sharma in the coming weeks. The movie also features Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi. The actor will start with Samji’s directorial by Diwali, “Come November, the project will roll at a bungalow in ND Studios in Karjat, followed by stints at multiple locations. The makers are targeting a Diwali 2022 release.”
Earlier, it was reported that Salman will be seen playing the role of superstar Vijay with Sooraj Barjatya in an upcoming Hindi remake Master. He also has ‘Kick 2’ with Jacqueline Fernandez and ‘Antim: The Final Truth’ co-starring Aayush.
