Superstar Salman Khan has been at the forefront to provide help amid the deadly second wave of covid-19. Earlier, the actor had also provided funds to 25,000 workers due to the pandemic. And now, Salman Khan and Netflix India have come ahead to help the stunt artists registered under the Movie Stunt Association.
Director Aejaz Khan, the general secretary of the association, shared that they didn’t receive any help until now. They are now getting help from Salman Khan and the money will be transferred into the accounts of association members. Aejaz further mentioned that even Netfix will be helping their association so there is some relief for the members who have been sitting at home without any job.
Aejaz also revealed that other actors like Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff and Ajay Devgn have also extended a helping hand towards the cine artists.
Talking about Salman Khan, he has been doing his bit during the covid situation. From providing meals to transferring money. The actor is working rentlessly to provide relief to the industry people. He has also been spreading awareness and urging people to stay home. Earlier, the actor rolled out food trucks to distribute food kits which included tea, water, a packet of biscuit, snacks to the needy.
Last year, Salman Khan had given financial assistance of Rs 3,000 for 23,000 people who are associated with the film industry. The actor also gave financial help of Rs 1,500 twice to the needy.
Meanwhile, On the work front, Salman Khan was last seen in the movie ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’ which was released all over the world. Radhe has premiered on the occasion of Eid on May 13, 2021. The movie starred Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff and Randeep Hooda. Directed by Prabhudheva.
