Saba Ali Khan expressed her preference for Yami Gautam’s ‘A Thursday’ over Deepika Padukone’s Gehraiyaan. ‘Gehraiyaan,’ starring Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi, as well as Ananya Panday, has received mixed reviews. Although some people appreciated the film, others described that as a “poor complicated interpersonal drama” that failed to elicit human emotions. Saba Ali Khan, Saif Ali Khan’s sister, appears to be unhappy by Shakun Batra’s direction as well. Inside a comment on Neha Dhupia’s Instagram page, she expressed her thoughts on the movie.

‘A Thursday’ depicts the storey of Naina (Yami Gautam), a playschool teacher who holds 16 youngsters captive. If her demands are not met, she threatens to murder them. The thriller, which also stars veteran actress Dimple Kapadia in a prominent role, premiered on Disney Plus Hotstar on February 17th. The film has received a good reception from both reviewers and spectators.
Yami’s never-before-seen persona has left fans and critics alike awestruck.
‘Naina forced me to be really detailed, but it is generally part of my research for any job,’ Yami had told First Post regarding playing such a deep character. I look through the script several times and have a tendency of taking notes.”
