Nimrat Kaur discusses her character’s forceful message in the film Dasvi

Nimrat Kaur is best known for her versatility. The actress from ‘The Lunchbox’ is remembered for some of her breakout roles.

In ‘Dasvi,’ the actress is going to thrill the audience as the typical Haryanvi wife Bimla Devi of politician Ganga Ram Chaudhary, in a fresh avatar.

In the film, directed by Tushar Jalota, the actress has sought to bring her on-screen role to life by acting it to perfection. Abhishek Bachchan plays Chief Minister Ganga Ram Chaudhary, and Yami Gautam plays IPS Officer Jyoti Deswal.

Nimrat recently paid a visit to Agra’s Central Jail to promote her film, which she co-produced alongside Abhishek, Yami, director Tushar Jalota, and producer Sandeep Leyzell.

On one hand, the video emphasises the significance of education, while on the other, it also addresses women’s empowerment and social equality. Nimrat’s character Bimla Devi, who isn’t well-educated and is confined to her home, later proves her worth by becoming the Chief Minister.
