For Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, Neetu Kapoor organised an impromptu Sangeet dance.
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have been married for almost a month. The wedding of the lovebirds has been one of B’Town’s most talked-about events in recent years. After a two-day private wedding celebration that featured Mehendi and Sangeet, the couple tied the knot. In related news, Ranbir Kapoor’s mother, legendary actress Neetu Kapoor, recently stated that the surprise dance at the duo’s Sangeet was her idea.
Neetu Kapoor revealed in a recent interview with IndiaToday.in that the wedding dance was her idea. Despite the time constraints, she stated that they practised for a day. She also expressed an interest in performing the Gidda, a Punjabi traditional dance. They did Gidda and then danced to modern music, according to the JugJugg Jeeyo actress, following which Ranbir Kapoor joined them.
Neetu Kapoor went on to say that her bahu Alia Bhatt was taken aback. “Even Alia was surprised because she did not know we were going to do this. It was a surprise for her. It was very nice. If we had more time, I would have made sure everyone was there and everyone danced,” said the veteran actress.
With JugJugg Jeeyo, Neetu Kapoor is scheduled to make her film debut. Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, and Kiara Advani play major parts in the Raj A Mehta family comedy drama. The film’s trailer was recently released, and it received a great response from spectators. The film is set to hit theatres on June 24th.
