After the critical and commercial success of Amar Singh Chamkila in 2024, filmmaker Imtiaz Ali is reuniting with superstar Diljit Dosanjh for a yet-untitled period love story, slated for a grand Baisakhi 2026 release.
Joining the cast are legendary actor Naseeruddin Shah, along with rising stars Sharvari and Vedang Raina. Described as a “charming story of love and longing,” the film is said to blend timeless romance with a contemporary, witty narrative that explores the emotional depths of human connection.
Adding to the excitement, the film will feature music by maestro A.R. Rahman and lyrics by Irshad Kamil — promising yet another unforgettable soundtrack from the acclaimed trio.
