Kavita Kaushik Reacts To Kangana Ranaut’s Comment On White People Post Twitter Account Suspension

Kangana Ranaut’s Twitter account was permanently suspended after a controversial tweet over the current situation in West Bengal. After being suspended, Kangana mentioned, Twitter proved that white people feel entitled to ‘enslave’ brown people.

Kangana had issued a statement saying that “Twitter has only proved my point they are Americans and by birth, a white person feels entitled to enslave a brown person, they want to tell you what to think, speak or do. Fortunately, I have many platforms I can use to raise my voice including my own art in the form of cinema but my heart goes out to the people of this nation who have been tortured, enslaved and censored for thousands of years and still there is no end to the suffering.”

Now, tv actress Kavita Kaushik take a dig at Kangana’s comment. She wrote, “Kaun se zamaane ki baat ho rahi hai bhai ? Aaj kal toh bechaare foreigners humaari filmo mei background dancers bann ke nach rahe hai, with due respect to the west (Which period is being referred to? Lately, even foreigners characteristic in our movies as background dancers, with due respect to the west).

After Kangana Ranaut’s Twitter account was suspended, social media was flooded with memes regarding the same. Many netizens appreaciated Twitter’s decision for permanently suspend her Twitter account.

On the work front, Kangana is waiting for her most anticipated film ‘Thalaivi’. The actress will be playing the role of former Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa in the movie. ‘Thalaivi’ is scheduled for a theatrical release in April but has been definitely postponed due to the spike in Covid-19 cases across India. The actress has also won four National Awards, for her brilliant performance in Fashion, Queen, Tanu Weds Manu and Manikarnika.
