Kangana Ranaut has managed to create a niche for herself within the Hindi film industry. The actress has always taken on diverse and challenging roles. She recently took to social media to news that she is undergoing a body scan to play Indira Gandhi in her upcoming film titled, ‘Emergency’.
The actress shared on her Instagram and captioned the post, “Every character is a beautiful beginning of a new journey, today we started journey of #Emergency #Indira with body, face scans and casts to get the look right. She shared several videos on her story where she is seen undergoing a body scan process which is a part of preparation for her role in her upcoming movies. According to the reports, Kangana Ranaut will be playing the role of former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in her next film, ‘Emergency’. The film feature Operation Blue Star. It is been written and directed by Sai Kabir, who helmed Kangana previous movie, ‘Revolver Rani’.
On the other hand, Kangana Ranaut will be seen in her next release, ‘Thalaivi’, a film on the life of former Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa. The actress will also be appearing in the film ‘Dhaakad’ which is known to be a spy thriller who will play the antagonist Rudraveer. It is slated to release on October 1. The actress will be portraying the role of a powerful fighter role in the film.
