Kangana Ranaut is currently fighting for her passport renewal which is set to expire in September after it was denied by the passport authority. And now, the actress recently shared a post on her Instagram story, stating that she is looking forward to resuming work. She wrote, “Can’t wait to start filming #Dhaakad,”
Kangana shared a picture of herself seen in an action-packed avatar. She is armed with a machine gun and a pistol.
The most anticipated movie ‘Dhaakad’ is known to be a spy thriller in which Kangana will be seen as a Agent Agni, directed by Razneesh Razy Ghai. The film also features Arjun Rampal who will play the antagonist Rudraveer. It is slated to release on October 1. Kangana will be seen playing a powerful fighter role in the film.
Kangana has recently been in the news, the actress had to moved to the Bombay High court on June 14 seeking directions to the regional passport authority in Mumbai to renew her passport. On June 15, the Bombay high court refused an urgent hearing of the actress’s plea. The court stated that the actress was not vigilant enough to mention all details and she did not include in that. The bench also said that Ms Ranaut’s application was “vague” and did not place all relevant facts on record.
In her application, Kangana said that the passport authority had refused to renew her passport on account of an FIR registered against her and her sister Rangoli Chandel by the Bandra police this year over some comments they had allegedly made on twitter in October last year, which the FIR claimed promoted enmity between communities.
On the work front, Kangana Ranaut will be seen in her next release, ‘Thalaivi’, a film on the life of former Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa.
