After it was determined that his annual earnings totalled Rs 1.5 crores, Amitabh Bachchan’s former bodyguard was suspended from Mumbai Police. According to reports, a Mumbai Police officer who formerly served as a bodyguard for superstar Amitabh Bachchan till 2021 has been suspended and accused of violating and misconducting service regulations.

On Tuesday, Jitendra Shinde, a policeman, got suspension orders, and an investigation has been launched. He was formerly assigned to the Mumbai police’s protection and security section. He worked as Amitabh Bachchan’s bodyguard in that department from 2015 to 2021, following which he was sent to the DB Marg police station. According to sources, Shinde visited Singapore and Dubai at least four times without alerting his superiors, despite the fact that he is required by law to notify his superiors before travelling overseas.

Jitendra Shinde also established a security service under his wife’s name, through which he provided security to the Bachchan family, but all funds were put into his account rather than his wife’s.

He’s also bought several homes that he hasn’t mentioned elsewhere. After his suspense, police commissioner has initiated an inquiry committee which will be headed by Additional Commissioner of Police, Dilip Sawant.
