Deepika Padukone debuted in the film industry with the 2007 film Om Shanti Om, where she played Shanti Priya and gained hearts. The Bajirao Mastani actress recently disclosed her first meeting with superstar Shah Rukh Khan in an interview with Allure.Deepika admitted to being nervous while sitting at King Khan’s residence She said, “I was sitting on the edge of the sofa, almost in a daze. I could not process what was happening.”
She also stated that she did not audition for the film and frequently questions director Farah Khan, “What was she thinking?” Farah had observed her during one of her modelling campaigns, it’s worth noting. She also stated that her first chance was virtually handed to her on a silver platter because she was well-dressed and well-cared for during her first picture.
Deepika Padukone, on the other hand, believes that her 2012 film ‘Cocktail,’ in which she co-starred with Saif Ali Khan and Diana Penty, was the turning point in her career. The film will be released on January 25 of the next year. She also owns Siddharth Anand’s ‘Fighter’ in her collection. Hrithik Roshan plays the lead role in the film.
