Kareena Kapoor known as the highest-paid female actress on Bollywood. As per reports, the actress was been approached by director Alaukik Desai for his upcoming magnum opus, ‘Sita’. It was said that Kareena Kapoor is charging around 12 crore to play the role.
Netizens started trolling the actress and used hashtag ‘Boycott Kareena Khan’ on Twitter. They put allegations on her for hurting their religious sentiments and demanding a whopping amount of 12 crore for the upcoming movie, Sita. The users expressed their anger and asked to boycott Kareena.
On Twitter user wrote, This role cannot be played by an actress who doesn’t respect Hindu God’s. Other user mention, Kareena Kapoor Khan to charge a whopping amount for the role of Sita.. #BoycottKareenaKhan And we should also #BoycottTheProducer and the director of the film who plan her for the role of ‘Mata Sita’.. why people from different religion will play such characters!!’
Earlier, it was reported that Kareena Kapoor had demanded Rs 12 crore to portray the role of Sita, which will depict the epic ‘Ramayana’ from Sita’s point of view. Meanwhile, the makers are also looking out for a younger actress. The film has been titled ‘Sita-The Incarnation’. It is being written by ‘Baahubali’ screenwriter KV Vijayendra Prasad. Kareena’s husband Saif Ali Khan will also be seen in Om Raut’s screen adaptation of the Ramayana, ‘Adipurush’.
On the work front, Kareena Kapoor is all set to star in Laal Singh Chaddha. The actress will be seen sharing screen space with Aamir Khan. Kareena has finished shooting for the film. The Movie Laal Singh Chaddha is a remake of Hollywood hit film Forrest Gump co-starring Tom Hanks and Robin Wright.
