After maintaining a relatively low profile for nearly two years, Bhuvan Bam is preparing for an emphatic return to the screen. The actor, creator and musician reportedly has a packed slate stretching from September 2026 into 2027, including two streaming series, his Bollywood debut and a theatrical production under his own banner.
Bam’s comeback is expected to begin with The Revolutionaries, tentatively slated for September 2026. The period drama, directed by Nikkhil Advani, also features Rohit Saraf, Pratibha Ranta and Gurfateh Pirzada. Set against India’s freedom struggle, the series is expected to present Bam in a markedly different avatar from the comic characters and contemporary roles for which he is best known.
That will reportedly be followed by Dhindora 2 later this year. The original Dhindora, released in 2021, brought several beloved characters from the BB Ki Vines universe together in a single narrative. Its return is consequently among his most anticipated projects.
The biggest milestone in Bam’s upcoming line-up, however, may be Kuku Ki Kundli, which is reportedly set to release in 2027. The romantic comedy marks Bam’s debut as a leading man in a feature film and pairs him with Wamiqa Gabbi. Directed by Sharan Sharma and backed by Dharma Productions. Production began with an extended schedule in Lucknow earlier this year, with Bam and Gabbi spotted shooting together at several locations around the city. The film has since moved into post-production. According to reports, a small patchwork portion is understood to remain, but the principal schedule has otherwise been wrapped.
With The Revolutionaries, Dhindora 2, Kuku Ki Kundli and his home production arriving in quick succession, Bam appears set to make up for his extended absence with the busiest phase of his career yet. The line-up also reflects the full range of his creative journey, from the home-grown world of BB Ki Vines to ambitious streaming dramas, Bollywood romance and theatrical production.
