Before the release of ‘The Kashmir Files,’ Vivek Agnihotri QUITS Twitter

Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri has written an open letter in which he describes the hardship he has gone through. Vivek Agnihotri has suspended his Twitter account after getting death threats and appeals to cancel the release of his highly anticipated and much-discussed film, ‘The Kashmir Files.’

For those who are curious about Vivek’s choice, the director has written an open letter detailing his struggle and put it on his social media platforms for the public, media, and industry to read.

‘The Kashmir Files,’ hailed as among India’s most significant, current, as well as untold stories, was welcomed by various major institutes and organisations in the United States for over 30 power-packed screenings and garnered an incredible reaction.

The Kashmir Files is indeed a factual narrative based on the video interviews with first-generation victims of the Kashmir Genocide of the Kashmiri Pandit community, and it lives up to its title. That’s a heartbreaking storey about Kashmiri pandits’ anguish, suffering, struggle, and trauma, and it raises important concerns about democracy, religion, politics, as well as humanity.

Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumaar, Pallavi Joshi, and Chinmay Mandlekar star in the exodus drama, which was written and directed by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri.

‘The Kashmir Files,’ written and directed by Vivek Agnihotri and produced by Zee Studios and Tej Narayan Agarwal, Abhishek Agarwal, Pallavi Joshi, and Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri will be released in theatres on March 11th, 2022.
