Sunny Deol may be seen in a still from Gadar 2 that Ameesha Patel posted earlier today. She also dispelled several rumours about Sakina, one of her characters.
For Gadar 2, Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel have reconnected after a long separation. The pair co-starred in Gadar as Tara Singh and Sakina, and the first episode was a huge box office success. The crowd was really delighted after the teaser and the first song, Udd Jaa Kaale Kaava, were recently released. However, Ameesha has angered internet users because they think she revealed a significant plot point from the movie.
Everything began when Ameesha posted a still from Gadar 2 on Twitter. Sunny may be seen sobbing while sitting in front of a tomb in the still image. He’s wearing only black clothing. Internet users speculated that Ameesha’s character Sakina may have died in the movie when she posted the image. She dispelled the rumours, though, by saying that her role in the movie is not actually killed off.
She tweeted, “Hey all my lovely fans!! Too many of u have been concerned n worried with this shot from GADAR 2 thinking it’s SAKINA who is dead !! Well it’s not !! Who it is I can’t say but it’s not SAKINA !! So pls don’t WORRY !! love u all.”
Others were observed posting emoticons with furious faces in the comments area. Since everyone assumed after viewing the teaser that she had been slain in the movie, it has become a hot topic on social media.
The 2001 release of the first installment will be followed on August 11 by the release of the sequel. Anil Sharma is directing Gadar 2, and his son Utkarsh Sharma, who portrayed Sunny and Ameesha’s son in Gadar, will also appear in it.
