Kartik Arayan has been making headlines after his exit from Karan Johar backed film ‘Dostana 2’. The actor was also out from a film produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s production house surfaced. However, Kartik’s fans and followers have supported him on social media. And now, filmmaker Anubhav Sinha has come out in support of Kartik and said that the campaign against the actor is bias.
He tweeted, “And by the way… when Producers drop Actors or vice versa they don’t talk about it. It happens all the time. This campaign against Kartik Aryan seems concerted to me and very bloody unfair. I respect his quiet.”

After filmmaker’s tweet, many netizens also reacted to the same. One user wrote, “Thank God somebody said it ! These “inside sources” are just insecure people talking shit about people with no backing!” Another fan came forward in support to the actor and tweeted. The user wrote, “At least someone is there in film fraternity to speak up…these big so called self made stars think they own not only people but there souls too…your kind of directors have our support to cast actors like Kartik…let such self sufficient hypocrite live there own dreams…”
Earlier, Karan Johar’s banner Dharma Productions officially announced that Kartik would no longer be seen in the upcoming production also starring Janhvi Kapoor and Lakshaya. “Due to professional circumstances, on which we have decided to maintain a dignified silence — we will be recasting Dostana 2, directed by Collin D’Cunha. Please wait for the official announcement soon,”
Later, the actor was also out of another project. As per the reports, Kartik opted out from Freddie, a film backed by Shah Rukh Khan’s production.
On the work front, Kartik Aryan will be featuring in the film ‘Dhamaka’ and ‘Bhool Bhlaiyaa 2’ starring Kiara Advani, directed by Anees Bazmee. Besides that, there are also reports that Kartik was replaced by Ayushmann Khurrana in his next movie. However, the filmmakers stated that he met Kartik for a another movie and they are still in talks.
