Aneet Padda’s 24th birthday post: Ahaan hug, Alia sister talk
Aneet Padda shared fresh pictures from her October 13 fairytale birthday bash, featuring Ahaan Panday and Alia Bhatt, plus an emotional note.
Aneet Padda’s 24th birthday celebrations took place on October 13, but the full picture only landed this week. On Wednesday, the actor posted a fresh set of photos from her fairytale-themed bash, and two frames quickly dominated the conversation: a warm hug with Ahaan Panday and a close moment with Alia Bhatt.
The photos everyone paused on
In one picture, Aneet wraps her arms around her Saiyaara co-star Ahaan Panday. The two have been linked in fan chatter since the film, though both have called each other best friends. In another, she shares an embrace with Alia Bhatt, and fans were quick to point out how much the two resemble each other.
The birthday gallery also gave a look at Aneet’s outfit and her princess castle-shaped cake. Director Mohit Suri, who is set to direct Ahaan and Aneet together again in an upcoming untitled film, was among the guests.
A caption that went beyond the party pictures
For Aneet, the post was about more than a party recap. In an emotional note, she wrote about regrets, unexpressed love and the calls she never made. She remembered her late grandfather and said birthdays now feel strange without him.
She also credited the people around her: parents who called, a sister who gifted something she had long wanted, and a childhood best friend who brought back their days at 17. As Aneet put it, “Something about birthdays makes me cry.”
Why the Ahaan-Aneet frame matters
The photo adds another chapter to one of Bollywood’s quieter will-they-won’t-they conversations. Aneet and Ahaan first shared screen space in Saiyaara, and their chemistry sparked immediate curiosity about their off-screen equation. They have maintained that they are best friends, but fans remain invested, and the birthday hug has only fuelled the chatter.
