Alia Bhatt’s performance in Gangubai Kathiawadi will be remembered for the next 50-100 years, according to SLB

Alia Bhatt is one of Bollywood’s most versatile actresses. She is now enjoying the success of Gangubai Kathiawadi, her most recent film. Fans adore her character, and she delivers an outstanding performance in the film. Pen Movies’ official YouTube account posted a video of the Highway actress interviewing Sanjay Leela Bhansali earlier today. They discussed a variety of topics, including the film’s success and why SLB chose Alia for this part.

During the interview, Alia Bhatt asked Sanjay Leela Bhansali the following question: ‘When was it that he breathed a sigh of relief after the film’s release’. It happened in Berlin, according to SLB. They had their first press conference after watching Gangubai Kathiawadi, he added, and he really appreciated it. Because Alia was seated next to him and blabbering nonstop, Sanjay felt a little more assured. Sanjay believed the film had been well received, and he had the audience stand and clap for the following five minutes.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali was also gushing about Alia Bhatt’s performance. He predicted that her performance in the movie would be remembered for the next 50 to 100 years. It may be on par with Nargis Ji in Mother India, Seema Biswas in Bandit Queen, and Meena Kumari in Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam, he added.

SLB says that Alia’s performance in the film would be the fourth performance he would talk of in the same league. “Here is a girl who is taking a whole film on her shoulder,” he said.
