Alia Bhatt is now enjoying the success of Gangubai Kathiawadi, her most recent film. Everyone has praised and adored her performance. She has established herself as one of Bollywood’s top actors, and now that she is about to make her big Hollywood debut with Jamie Dornan and Gal Gadot, she is on a whole other level. In a recent interview with Barkha Dutt, the actress expressed her heartfelt feelings regarding a variety of topics. One of them was counselling, which she received throughout the lockdown.

When Barkha Dutt asked her, “What would you say to an 18-year-old Alia Bhatt if you were having a discussion with her?” To this, the Gangubai Kathiawadi actress said that she is who she is today as a result of the experiences she had ten years ago, and that there is a part of herself that she would not alter. But there is one thing she would tell her younger self: don’t be so hard on yourself. The actress admits that since she’s been in show business, she’s had to deal with continual struggles with diets, weight, and her appearance.

So Alia simply wants to urge the 18-year-old girl to relax and don’t be so harsh on herself because she believes it will eventually catch up to her.

Alia Bhatt also claimed that she went to counselling once and began discussing overweight and body image concerns three months later. Alia Bhatt went on to say that she started going to therapy as a preventative measure to keep her mind in good shape. She began during the lockdown and soon realised she had a slew of problems. She stated that, in light of the Instagram culture, where people modify and post photographs, she simply wants to encourage young girls to be kind to their bodies since it does not matter.

‘Fast ahead to the future,’ Alia says she tells herself practically every day. She jokes that she’ll go to the gym and put in the effort, but she’ll also indulge in her moong dal halwa now and again because it makes her happy.
