Ajay Devgn has been trending on social media for two reasons: his excellent performances in Rudra and Gangubai Kathiawadi. Rudra is the actor’s first foray into the online world. In Gangubai Kathiawadi, on the other hand, the actor had a little but pivotal role. Ajay Devgn discussed keeping up with the latest trends in a recent Metaverse interview with India Today.
When asked if his daughter Nysa and son Yug kept him informed about the latest technology advancements, Ajay said, “I think we all learn from the younger generation. If we have to keep up with the world, we need to understand from them.”
He went on to say that there are times when he is unable to keep up with the fast pace of trends, and that his children also educate him. “Apart from my kids, my nephews, and everybody who is younger around me, we actually ask them what’s cool because the language is also changing every three months. I mean there are terms which are used and then you learn that term and use it and after three months, they turn around and say ‘Pops, this is old fashion!’” Ajay Devgn said.
He explained that having continuous conversations with younger people keeps him up to date on the latest technology. “So you need to keep up and to do that, you need to have lots of conversations and need to learn from them. This is what I believe. I couldn’t understand all this; they are the ones who explained to me that this is how it happens.”
In terms of work, Ajay Devgn has taken over as director of Runway 34, which stars Amitabh Bachchan, Rakul Preet Singh, as well as the actor himself.
