Being a celebrity isn’t easy, and constant attention has both benefits and drawbacks. In a recent interview, Ajay Devgn, who is gearing up for the release of Runway 34, discussed the sacrifices he has made to get to where he is now. Speaking about it, Ajay Devgn remarked that celebrities are afraid of criticism if they express their feelings out for fear of being misunderstood. In fact, the Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior actor claimed that anything they say would be met with reaction, therefore celebrities will choose to remain silent and not share their views.

In an interview with Ranveer Allahbadia, Ajay stated of the sacrifices, “Lots of things, like you, have to consciously need to know you can’t gain weight, you can’t speak your heart out on different occasions. There are so many things that happen in the country, we chose to speak and we chose not to speak because they are taken very differently and if you are trying to be honest about something then it can be taken differently. Whatever you say, you will have a backlash, there will be 50 per cent who will be with you and 50 per cent no. So the other 50 per cent is also a huge chunk. So you are scared of that also”.

Ajay also discussed how people interrogate them about it not talking about some subjects or reacting to certain situations. The actor responded by saying, “There is a reaction to everything. You say good there is a reaction, you say bad there is a reaction, there is a reaction to everything. Something bad happens in the industry, like if X person says something then the entire industry is a b**. Does this happen in industries? No”.

However, on that professional front, Ajay Devgn is excited about his next directorial debut, Runway 34, which further stars Amitabh Bachchan, Rakul Preet Singh, and Boman Irani. The film will be released on April 29 and therefore will compete with Tiger Shroff’s Heropanti 2 there at the box office.
