Since his debut in Student Of The Year in 2012, actor Sidharth Malhotra has managed to carve out a name for himself in Bollywood. Matrix Entertainment was Sidharth’s manager when he made his debut. However, the Shershaah actor recently parted ways with the agency after a nine-year relationship and decided to manage his own projects. While the reason for the Mission Majnu actor’s decision is unknown, there was conjecture that he might join Karan Johar’s Dharma Cornerstone Agency.
But it, too, has come to an end now. “Though Sidharth is going solo, there is no ill blood between him and mentor Karan Johar,” a person close to the situation stated. Sidharth would manage his own portfolio with the help of a close-knit team if he goes solo. He will not delegate the task to anyone else and will be in charge of the activities personally. Matrix Entertainment and its team have previously managed his work assignments for the past nine years.
Meanwhile, Sidharth announced the release of his film Mission Majnu on Wednesday. The film’s poster has been announced, along with the revised release date for the picture. The film will include Sidharth in the lead role, as well as Rashmika Mandanna, who will be making her cinematic debut. Shantanu Bagchi directed the film, which will be released on June 10, 2022, and is produced by RSVP movies. Govinda Naam Mera, starring Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, and Kiara Advani, will be its main competition.
