The trailer for the film was published on Wednesday, and it caused quite a stir on social media. Everyone, from fans to celebrities, was spotted chanting Dasvi’s praises. Clearly, Abhishek Bachchan’s swag and Yami Gautam’s no-nonsense demeanour in the film have wowed the audience. Among all the accolades, Aditya Dhar’s response to the Dasvi teaser has been winning hearts, as the Uri: The Surgical Strike director was once again at his zaniest.
Aditya uploaded the teaser for Dasvi on his Instagram account, making a smart dig at Yami’s portrayal as a stern cop in the film who is seen educating Abhishek Bachchan. He penned, “And I thought I was the only one getting schooled by you!!”

It’s worth noting that Dasvi is Yami’s first collaboration with Abhishek Bachchan, and their onscreen chemistry was refreshing. Surprisingly, Abhishek had posted a letter for Dasvi before of the trailer release, stating that the film is extremely important to his heart. “I really believe in this film and what it has to say. To make a film that is entertaining and leaves you with a thought or something to think about gives me such joy. I hope it has a similar effect on you too,” he added.
