Tim Burton was born on August 25, 1958, in Burbank, California, to Jean Burton (1930–2000), a former minor league baseball player who worked for the Burbank Parks and Recreation Department, as well as William “Bill” Burton (1930–2000), a former minor league baseball player who worked for the Burbank Parks and Recreation Department.
