Who is Rob Zombie?

Rob Zombie, real name Robert Bartleh Cummings, is indeed an American musician, songwriter, director, as well as voice actor. He is indeed a founder member of the heavy metal band White Zombie, with whom he has released four studio albums. Spider One, the lead vocalist of such industrial metal band Powerman 5000, is his elder brother.

“Hands of Death (Burn Baby Burn),” a 1996 song written and performed with Alice Cooper, marked Zombie’s debut solo attempt. They’re at the 39th Annual Grammy Awards, which received a nomination for Best Metal Performance. In 1997, he started work on Hellbilly Deluxe, his first solo studio album, which had been released in August 1998. White Zombie was formally disbanded by Zombie a month later. Hellbilly Deluxe ended up selling over three million copies worldwide, as well as three singles were released as a result.

In 2000, Zombie helmed the controversial horror movie House of 1000 Corpses, which had not been released till 2003. His second studio album, The Sinister Urge, was certified platinum inside the United States.

The Devil’s Rejects (2005) was helmed by Zombie as well as being a direct continuation to his previous picture House of 1000 Corpses. The initiative was welcomed with more enthusiasm than just its predecessor. Educated Horses (2006), his third studio album, marked a departure beyond his previous work. The album was his third to reach the top 10 of the Billboard 200, however, sales were down from his previous efforts. Zombie decided to concentrate on filmmaking and helmed the horror picture Halloween (2007), a remake of the 1978 horror classic of the same name. The movie became Zombie’s highest-grossing feature to date, despite poor reviews from reviewers.

He went on to direct Halloween II (2009), although fell short of its predecessor’s popularity. In the same year, he released the animated feature The Haunted World of El Superbeasto. With both the release of his fourth studio album, Hellbilly Deluxe 2, Zombie returned to music (2010). The album reached number eight on the Billboard 200 chart in the United States, selling over 200,000 copies.
