Paul William Walker IV or Paul Walker commonly known as an actor from the United States. He is most recognised for his part in the Fast & Furious franchise as Brian O’Conner.

Walker began his acting career as a child actor in the 1980s, and rose to prominence in the 1990s after starring in the television soap opera The Young and the Restless; he received critical acclaim for his roles in the teen comedy She’s All That and the comedy-drama Varsity Blues (both 1999), and achieved international acclaim for his role in The Fast and the Furious (2001).

Walker went on to feature in the financially successful road thriller Joy Ride (2001), where he established himself as an action star. He then went on to star in the box office flops Into the Blue (2005) as well as Running Scared (2006), while he received accolades for his work inside the survival drama Eight Below and as Hank Hansen in Flags of Our Fathers (both 2006).

Walker’s other roles were mostly in low-budget action movies, however, he did star inside the financially successful heist thriller Takers (2010).

On November 30, 2013, Walker died as a direct result of injuries received in a single-vehicle incident. Separate wrongful termination cases against Porsche were made by his father and daughter, both of which were settled. Walker had not finished shooting Furious 7 (2015) when he died; this was released following rewrites and stand-ins, notably his siblings Cody and Caleb, who stood in just for him, and Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth’s song “See You Again” was commissioned as just a memorial.

Walker had his debut in 2001, featuring Vin Diesel in the action picture The Fast and the Furious, which was a box office blockbuster and spawned a media franchise. Walker’s performance earned him the MTV Movie Award for Best On-Screen Team (shared with Diesel) in 2002, establishing him as a movie star as well as leading man. Walker also participated in the highly acclaimed movie Joy Ride (2001), which included car-related violence, and even in the 2003 sequel 2 Fast 2 Furious, in which he repeated his role as Brian O’Conner. Following that, he appeared inside a number of low-budget or financially failed movies, including Timeline (2003) and Into the Blue (2005).
