Christian Bale is indeed an actor from England. He has been a starring guy in movies of various genres and therefore is known for his versatility and repeated physical modifications to perform his characters. Bale has received several awards, including an Academy Award as well as two Golden Globe nominations. In 2011, he was included in Time magazine’s list of the world’s 100 most influential.

Christian Bale, who was born in Wales to English parents, got his breakout performance in Steven Spielberg’s 1987 war epic Empire of the Sun when he was 13 years old. He achieved broader fame for his performances of serial murderer Patrick Bateman inside the black comedy American Psycho as well as the eponymous part within psychological thriller The Machinist after further about a decade of acting in main as well as supporting roles in movies. The Dark Knight (2008), Ford v Ferrari (2019), American Hustle, Little Women (1994), The Fighter (2010), Rescue Dawn (2007), 3:10 to Yuma, The Big Short (2015), Howl’s Moving Castle (2005), as well as the Dark Knight Rises (2012) are among Bale’s highest-scoring movies, as per the review aggregation website Rotten Tomatoes, that also assigns movies scores depending on the number of favourable critical reviews those who receive.

Bale had four Academy Award nominations, namely two for Best Actor for his roles in American Hustle and Vice (2018), as well as two for Best Supporting Actor for his roles in The Fighter (2010) and The Big Short; he won one in The Fighter.
