Armie Hammer is indeed an actor from the United States. He began his acting career as a guest star in various television programmes as the son of businessman Michael Armand Hammer as well as the great-grandson of oil mogul Armand Hammer. Hammer rose to prominence after portraying the twins Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss in David Fincher’s biographical drama film The Social Network (2010), over which he earned the Toronto Movie Critics Association Award for Best Supporting Actor.

Armie Hammer featured as Clyde Tolson inside the biography J. Edgar (2011), as The Lone Ranger within western The Lone Ranger (2013), and also as Illya Kuryakin in the action movie The Man from U.N.C.L.E. inside the action movie The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (2015). He got a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actor as well as an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Supporting Male for his role in Luca Guadagnino’s romance film Call Me by Your Name in 2017.
