As no matter what Bollywood is here to entertain. Being the only film industry in the entire world that produces the most number of films. It’s not an easy job to pick just 10 movies. So, with a lot of research and survey from our end, we have figured out these 10 movies that are timelessly evergreen.

1. Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995)

The movie recently completed its 25th Anniversary in 2020. The 1995 classic is widely considered the golden standard for Bollywood rom-com, featuring a cheeky superstar Shah Rukh Khan also known as ‘King of Bollywood’ and starlet Kajol. The film’s plot revolves around two lead characters Raj and Simran. The two young non-resident Indians, who fall in love during a vacation through Europe with their friends. After being mischievous at first Raj afterward tries to win over Simran’s family so the couple can marry, but Simran’s father has long since promised her hand to his friend’s son. The film was shot in India, London, and Switzerland.

2. Lagaan: Once Upon a Time in India (2001)

Set in India in the late-1800s, the local British rulers are imposing excessively high taxes on the local population. One of the local villagers has a run-in with the senior British officer, resulting in a cricket match between the British and the villagers. If the villagers win, they don’t have to pay taxes for three years. If they lose, they have to pay three times their usual taxes.

3. Andhadhun (2018)

A series of mysterious events happening in and around a guy trying to act like a blind pianist but he is in this situation in which he has to report a crime that he should technically know nothing about. What a mind-bending plot isn’t it? A must-watch for all the cinema lovers that are interesting in watching Thriller, mystery and crime.

4. Raazi (2018)

A Kashmiri woman agrees to marry a Pakistani army officer in order to spy on Pakistan during the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971. Director by the great Meghna Gulzar. Starring Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kushal and Rajit Kapoor in lead roles.

5. Dangal (2016)

The film Dangal starred Aamir Khan in the lead role, as the whole film revolves around his shoulders. This film was released in 2016. It is considered one of the most promising films of the decade. Dangal is also known as one of the best-made sports films in the country alongside movies such as Bhaag Milkha Bhaag released in 2013, M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story (2016), and Mary Kom released in the year 2014. The film is an Indian Hindi-language biographical sports drama film directed by Nitesh Tiwari, written by Tiwari, Piyush Gupta, Shreyas Jain and Nikhil Mehrotra, and produced by Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao under Aamir Khan Productions with Siddharth Roy Kapur producing the original Hindi version under the Disney banner and the dubbed local and overseas versions under the UTV Motion Pictures banner.

6. 3 Idiots (2009)

I wonder that how can this film not make it to this list of Top 10 Bollywood Movies of all time. Two friends are searching for their long lost companion. They revisit their college days and recall the memories of their friend who inspired them to think differently, even as the rest of the world called them idiots. The film is a total classic.

7. Pink (2016)

Pink is a superpowerful statement on the existing antique minset in the majority of our country India. The movie is an eye opener and a must watch.

8. Gully Boy (2019)

A story based on the city street rappers living in Mumbai. Directed by Zoya Akhtar, its a revolutionary film. Nominated for the Academy Awards and showcased in the Berlin Film Festival.

9. Super 30 (2019)

Based on the life of Patna-based mathematician Anand Kumar who runs the famed Super 30 program for IIT aspirants in Patna. Hrithik Roshan did a fab job in essaying the role of the mathematician. A must watch to take some inspiration.

10. Kaamyaab (2018)

Sudheer is an actor from the heyday of Bollywood. Years after his retirement, he realizes that he ‘retired’ on the verge of accomplishing a unique record. He decides to come out of his retirement to complete a total of 500. Totally a must-watch for all the acting aspirants and Sanjay Mishra is just remarkable.
